I just killed my Discord server, and I feel amazing

For the past year or so, I’ve had a small Discord server tied to my Twitch channel. 61 members. Almost zero messages per week. A constant low-level guilt in the back of my head: “I should post something, organise something, add bots, make roles…”

Today I archived it forever. And I’ve never felt lighter.

Here’s the raw truth:

So I’m done pretending I’m a “community guy” before being a “guy who ships games”.

I’m done pretending I’m a “community guy” before being a “guy who ships games”.

From now on, this devlog is my new home.

What to expect here:

I only go live when I have something real and working to show. No more “let’s start yet another prototype together”.

Live streams are not gone, but the rule is now brutal and simple: I only go live when I have something real and working to show. No more “let’s start yet another prototype together”.

This devlog is my public commitment device. No Discord notifications, no bots, no roles, no fake engagement metrics. Just me, the code, and the will to finally finish something.

Thanks to everyone who has ever joined the server. If you want to keep watching the journey (the real one, with all the mess), bookmark this place.

The next post will already have code, screenshots, and probably a bug that made me lose 2 hours today.

See you on the other side!
